"Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right."
Henry Ford

HYPNOSIS is an altered state of consciousness which results in an increased receptiveness and response to suggestions.  It is a simple yet powerful tool that helps you create the changes in your life that you desire. While the physical body and the conscious mind enter a state of deep relaxation, the SUBCONSCIOUS MIND is focused, accessible and receptive to suggestions for positive changes. Hypnosis can be triggered naturally from environmental stimuli as well as purposefully from a Hypnotherapist.

HYPNOSIS IS NOT MIND CONTROL.  Hypnosis is not magic either.  It cannot make you do something against your free will or ethical beliefs.  Hypnosis is a useful and effective technique available to those who seek to make positive changes because it allows the subconscious mind to become  congruent with the new desires of the conscious mind.

HYPNOTHERAPIST utilizes hypnosis as the primary tool for assisting clients to achieve their goals. A Hypnotherapist differs from others therapists by focusing on the role of subconscious behaviors and influences on the client's life.  Some people refer to Hypnotherapists as SUBCONSCIOUS BEHAVIORISTS.  Hypnosis allows access to  the subconscious mind  where suggestions can be given to create changes in beliefs or behaviors that no longer serve you.  HYPNOSIS IS SAFE, IT IS EFFECTIVE AND IT WORKS!

WHAT IS A HYPNOTHERAPY SESSION LIKE?  In the first session, we discuss your goals and reasons for seeking hypnotherapy.  It is explained, in more detail, what hypnosis is and isn't and how it works.  After doing suggestibility testing to determine how you take in information, we do the hypnotic induction.  The main goal of the first session is to understand your goals and condition you for hypnosis.  This first session typically lasts 1 1/2  - 2 hours while subsequent sessions generally are about one hour in duration.  Because hypnosis is effective in many areas of life, clients often come in to work on one issue, and then come back or continue hypnosis to attend to other areas of life  as well.  The physical feeling of being hypnotized does vary with individuals.  Almost all clients, however, thoroughly enjoy the state of hypnosis and emerge with a sense of calmness, relaxation and a general sense of well being.

"If we did the things we are capable of, we would astound ourselves." Thomas Edison
